Loose Ends: Eminem Divorce Details, Celine Dion's Illness And More Pete Doherty Adventures

Eminem's wife, Kim Mathers, is asking for financial support, attorney fees and joint custody of their daughter in response to the rap star's April 5 divorce request. She also wants Marshall Bruce Mathers III to pay the mortgage, insurance and utility bills for their house as well as child support. The Mathers' originally divorced in 2001 and then remarried on January 14.
Some people might claim that listening to too much Celine Dion can give you an ear disease, but the Quebec chanteuse was forced to cancel six shows at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas after suffering from a condition called labryinthitis. The virus caused fluid to build in Dion's ear, which made her experience severe vertigo. The superstar refused medication that could dry out her vocal chords, but she's apparently feeling much better now without it. Dion will perform her 500th show at Caesar's Palace's 4,100-seat Colosseum theatre on Sunday and will continue her run there until next year, when she'll be replaced by Cher.
Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty was released on bail on Sunday after he was detained by police in London, England on suspicion of recklessly administering a noxious substance. Britain's Sun newspaper published a photo on April 28 that appeared to show Doperty holding a syringe to the arm of a woman lying on the floor and another that showed him with a needle in his arm. The Sun reported that the pictures, which caught the attention of law enforcement officials, were taken at Doperty's home in the past five weeks. The 27-year-old is to return for more police questioning in July.
It seems that marriages between former Baywatch actresses and Motley Crue members just aren't met to last forever. Following Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's split from a few years back, Donna D'Errico has filed for divorce from Nikki Sixx after nine years. D'Errico cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. She's seeking physical custody and joint legal custody of the couple's five-year-old daughter and her 13-year-old son, which she bore during a previous relationship. You might remember the 38-year-old former Playboy model as the host of Comedy Central's BattleBots or from appearances on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, but probably not.
You think that Nick Lachey is depressed these days as he tries to cope with being dumped by Jessica Simpson? Well, at least he wasn't arrested for drunken driving and driving without a valid licence, as his former 98 Degrees bandmate Jeff Timmons was on April 23. Police pulled Timmons over when they spotted him in a white Mercedes driving over the speed limit. The 33-year-old told officers that he had "a lot" to drink, but later told deputies that he'd only had two beers, according to an Associated Press article. Two passengers in the car were "very intoxicated," according to the police report. One of them identified himself as Mitch English, who hosts the syndicated television show, The Daily Buzz. English told police that Timmons was driving his car for him because he had too much to drink. Timmons was arrested and held on a $500 U.S. bond, which he posted the same day.
