Radiohead To Play Toronto And Montreal In June

Radiohead

Radiohead will perform for two nights in both Toronto and Montreal next month to road-test new material from their forthcoming seventh album.

The tour will also include two-night stands at U.S. theatres and a June 17 appearance at the Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn.

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood took time out from rehearsals to play a benefit concert for Friends Of The Earth at the Koko club in London, England on Monday night. In addition to playing semi-acoustic versions of such fan favourites as "Karma Police," "Fake Plastic Trees" and "Paranoid Android," Yorke and Greenwood debuted three new tracks in their 13-song set.

New songs "Arpeggi," "Bodysnatchers" and a still untitled tune from the show have already made it online and are available to download through various Radiohead fan sites.

There's still no release date scheduled for the band's follow-up to 2003's Hail To The Thief, which they've been working on with producer Mark "Spike" Stent since August.

Tickets go on sale on May 6 for these Radiohead concert dates:

June 7-8 Toronto, ON @ Hummingbird Centre
June 10-11 Montreal, QC @ Salle Wilfred-Pelletier at Place Des Arts w/The Black Keys
