Jet's New Album Gains Altitude (And Attitude)

Jet have posted another update on how their second album is coming along on their website. The hard rocking, hard partying group titled their latest message Conducting Our Self With Decorum And Improving Our Hillside Manners.
"We've tracked 20 cracking songs... not only do we have drums and bass finished but we are well into guitar overdubs," the band wrote.
Frontman Cameron Muncey and guitarist Nic Cester are working with producer Dave Sardy (Oasis, System Of A Down, Marilyn Manson) on an unnamed "raucous rocker" that they promise will "destroy your constitution." While holed up at Los Angeles' Hillside Manor Studios, the boys have also been perfecting their cocktail-making skills, particularly White Russians.
The Australian quartet have been discussing a title for the follow-up to 2003's Get Born, which has sold more than 100,000 copies in Canada. They've been working on the album since late last year and Atlantic Records has scheduled it for a September 26 release.
