AFI Unearth Decemberunderground

AFI will emerge from their recent relative seclusion with a tour in support of their June 6 release, Decemberunderground.

The California group's seventh album is the follow-up to 2003's Sing The Sorrow major label debut, their mainstream breakthrough that was certified platinum in Canada while spawning the hits "Girl's Not Grey" and "The Leaving Song Pt. II."

The new record's first single, "Miss Murder," was commercially released as a digital download on Tuesday and can also be heard on the band's MySpace page. The Despair Faction, AFI's official fan club, contributed back-up vocals to the track. Vocalist Davey Havok, drummer Adam Carson, bassist Hunter and guitarist Jade Puget will likely play much of the new album during two Canadian tour stops in June and at four Warped Tour appearances in July and August.

Here are the dates of AFI's two Canadian headlining shows and their four Warped Tour appearances:

June 13 Montreal, QC @ Medley
June 15 Toronto, ON @ Kool Haus
July 18 Vancouver, BC @ Thunderbird Stadium
July 20 Calgary, AB @ Race City Speedway
Aug. 12 Barrie, ON @ Park Place (Molson Park)
Aug. 13 Montreal, QC @ Parc Jean Drapeau
