Things Are Looking Up For Jets Overhead

Jets Overhead

Victoria, B.C. trance-rockers Jets Overhead have a lot to celebrate these days.

Not only are they re-releasing their 2005 Bridges LP via the Warner-distributed Microgroove label on April 25, they'll head out on a cross-Canada tour with Can-rock mainstays Our Lady Peace two days later.

Jets Overhead — comprised of vocalist/guitarist Adam Kittredge, vocalist Antonia Freybe-Smith, bassist/vocalist Jocelyn Greenwood, guitarist/keyboardist Piers Henwood and drummer Luke Renshaw — have previously shared stages with The Dandy Warhols, Tegan And Sara, Powderfinger and The Stills since their formation in 2003.

Bridges, produced by 54-40's Neil Osborne, was given a soft regional release by the band last year and enjoyed some campus radio airplay. The single/video "Seems So Far," which can be seen on the band's website, is now going for commercial play.
