Jann Arden And Paul Shaffer Among New Stars For Canada's Walk Of Fame

Canadian icons from the worlds of music, sports, theatre, television and film will be honoured with stars on Canada's Walk Of Fame during a nationally televised ceremony at Toronto's Hummingbird Centre hosted by wrestling diva Trish Stratus on June 3.
The recipients are: singer/songwriter Jann Arden; composer and The Late Show With David Letterman band leader Paul Shaffer; suave singer/actor Robert Goulet; Canada's centennial baby (the first baby born on Canada's 100th birthday in 1967) and 2006 Juno Awards host Pamela Anderson; skiers Ken Read, Steve Podborski, Dave Irwin and Dave Murray, who became affectionately known as "the Crazy Canucks" to fans; actor Brendan Fraser; comedic actor, writer and director Eugene Levy; and Jeopardy host Alex Trebek.
This year's big names will bring the total number of stars on the Walk Of Fame to more than 100. The Walk Of Fame has been immortalizing Canadians since 1998 with stars embedded in the sidewalk in Toronto's entertainment district.
