Tireless Akron/Family Will Keep Touring Until They Record Two More LPs

The arty Akron/Family have been on tour since October and show no signs of slowing down their hectic pace.
The Brooklyn, New York four-piece continue to play in support of their split LP with Michael Gira's Angels Of Light project, which was released last year on Gira's Young God label. The psychedelic folk band will cover Canada, the U.S. and Europe through April and will then start recording new material.
A second Angels Of Light release is due in July and a proper Akron/Family album is expected to follow in August.
Akron/Family formed in 2002 and singing multi-instrumentalists Seth Olinsky, Miles Seaton, Dana Janssen and Ryan Vanderhoof have been cranking out quirky music from their Brooklyn home studio since then.
