Kid Rock Steals Paparazzi Camera After Scuffle

Kid Rock has been involved in scuffles with photographers in the past, and he can add another one to his list after an incident last week.
This time, a 26-year-old photographer apparently pushed Rock's buttons while attempting to get a shot of the rockin' rapper as he was leaving Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel on March 22 at 2 a.m. Two of Rock's bodyguards allegedly hit the photographer after he was spotted.
The Los Angeles Police Department released a statement that said one of the bodyguards then threw the victim's camera to the ground, only for it to be immediately snatched up by Rock (real name Robert James Ritchie), who put it in his vehicle and drove away with the bodyguards. Rock hasn't commented on the situation and the Los Angeles city attorney's office hasn't said anything about charges being filed.
Rock is currently in the midst of his Live Trucker tour and trying to prevent the distribution of the leaked sex tape that also features former Creed frontman Scott Stapp and some strippers.
An Atlantic Records spokesperson told MTV News that the singer plans to return to the studio this summer to record the follow-up to his self-titled 2003 album. Rock recently told Newsweek that he's been talking with Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash) about potentially producing it.
"We both came from the same place — hip-hop fused with rock and roll," he said in the article. "We've always been friends, but we've never worked together. Now I want to make a really good, timeless rock-and-roll record."
