Grizzly Bear To Attack Ontario And Quebec

If you're a regular viewer of The Colbert Report, or you just have a lot of common sense, you'll know that the Grizzly Bear is the #1 threat to humans — making it a good idea to always be on the watch for them. Another thing to be on the lookout for is Grizzly Bear, the Brooklyn, New York band who are coming to Ontario and Quebec next month.
The dreamy folk-rock four-piece released their Horn Of Plenty debut last year and found that they appealed to people who were into Animal Collective and Sufjan Stevens. While fans await the follow-up, tentatively titled Yellow House, Edward Droste, Christopher Bear (whose last name is entirely coincidental but no less threatening), Chris Taylor and Daniel Rossen will release the aptly titled Sorry For The Delay.
The 12-inch white vinyl collection of seven early songs and demos — including their version of Yes' "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" — will be released by Portland, Ore.'s Audraglint Recordings on May 8. It will be limited to 1,000 copies and, if you're lucky, you may be able to pick up a pre-release copy at one of Grizzly Bear's upcoming shows.
In concert, the band feature four voices, guitar, clarinet, percussion and effects to create a more electric and psychedelic experience than what was displayed on Horn Of Plenty.
Here are the songs you'll find on Sorry For The Delay:
"Sorry For The Delay"
"Sure Thing"
"A Leader Always Carries A Stick"
"Particular To What"
"August March"
"Owner Of A Lonely Heart"
"Fragments"
Grizzly Bear will tour alongside Final Fantasy and Wyrd Visions in April before returning to Canada to headline a few shows in May. While Grizzly Bear seem friendly, you may want to bring some pepper spray to these shows just in case:
