Whoo Kid Chills With Michael Jackson in Bahrain

Queens, New York mix tape master Whoo Kid wants to be the musical ambassador of Bahrain. And judging by his last visit to the Persian Gulf nation, he might be well on his way thanks to his popularity among the country's royal family and new resident Michael Jackson.
Whoo Kid (born Yves Mondesire) hooked up with Bahrain's royal family when he was recommended to DJ their parties through such friends as the prince of Monaco and Seif Khadafy, the son of Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy. Kid recently spent time with Bahrain's ruler, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the sheikh's son, R&B singer John Legend, model Tyson Beckford and MJ. Kid, who's also a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit, told MTV News that he got along swimmingly with Jackson.
"I said, 'What's up?' to him and acted like I wasn't groupie-sized. I gave him respect for all the shit he did, but in my head I was going crazy. He said, 'I'm just chillin' — he actually said 'chillin.' Fucked my head up, so I walked away from him. Everybody gave him his respectful space."
Kid got another opportunity to "chill" with the pop icon when he was invited to dinner by the sheik and sat beside Jackson. The two hit it off and Jackson showed interest in collaborating with 50 Cent and Kanye West on a new album. Kid later arrange a phone conversation between Fiddy and Jackson.
The gloved one was also interested in knowing if Eminem was actually retiring, despite Em's ridicule of Jackson in his "Lose It" music video. The pair grew so comfortable at dinner that Kid even gave MJ some career advice. "I told him he needs to cut his hair, get some million-dollar earrings, get a million-dollar watch and take all them spaceship clothes off."
Kid plans on heading back to Bahrain and would like to record with Jackson for one of his mix tapes. He has a number of new ones coming, including those with Freeway, Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent. He also contributed to new albums from Mase and Mobb Deep.
Jackson remains in Bahrain after abandoning his Neverland ranch in California.
