Stereo Dynamite Finds Sanctuary With EMI And Has Four Albums Coming

New Canadian independent label Stereo Dynamite has just signed an exclusive distribution deal with EMI Music Canada and is hitting the ground running with four releases scheduled in the next five weeks.
The label, founded by former Sanctuary Records label director (and Damn 13 frontman) Adam Sewell and Sanctuary publicity manager Kerry Goulding, will feature an artist roster that dabbles in metal, reggae, ska, rockabilly and horrorbilly.
"After spending five-and-a-half years working with the EMI Canada team while I was with Sanctuary, I'm thrilled to be able to continue my working relationship with everyone at EMI," says Sewell. "We're having a great time working with some incredibly fun and exciting artists, and it's a pleasure to share that excitement with our good friends at EMI."
Stereo Dynamite acts with upcoming releases include:
The Video Dead, a Burlington, Ont. hardcore band who will unveil their Brotherhood Of The Dead debut on April 18 and support it with several tours across Canada.
Arise And Ruin, a Guelph, Ont. metalcore group who will unleash their five-song (including current single/video "In Life") The Fear Of EP on April 18.
The Creepshow, a Toronto horrorbilly quartet whose May 2 Sell Your Soul debut should have vampire boys and zombie girls hitting the dance floors to their ghoulishly catchy pop, punk and rockabilly musical mixture.
The Matadors, a London, Ont. horrorbilly outfit equally inspired by The Misfits and Screamin' Jay Hawkins, whose Horrorbilly 9000 will come out on May 2.
A cross-Canada Stereo Dynamite Tour is set for this summer. Get your earplugs and eyeliner ready.
