Simple Plan, K-OS And Kalan Porter Design Xbox Faceplates For Charity

Have you ever wanted to stare at something more exciting than the bland faceplate on your Xbox 360 as you're waiting for the next level of whatever you're playing to load? Well, now you can, thanks to Xbox Canada and Children's Miracle Network.
Celebrity Faces is a fundraising initiative in support of Children's Miracle Network that hopes to raise money through eBay auction sales of personalized faceplates that have been designed, created and signed by Canadian celebrities. The 18 one-of-a-kind faceplates will go on the auction block from March 17-27.
Music stars contributing their handiwork to the cause include Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies, Finger Eleven, K-OS, Canadian Idol Kalan Porter, Kardinal Offishall, Our Lady Peace, Rush, Simple Plan and Yellowcard. Other celebrities taking part include MuchMusic shock talker Ed The Sock, eTalk Daily representatives, X-Men stud Shawn Ashmore and NHL players Martin Brodeur and Tie Domi.
Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals and health foundations across North America.
The faceplates can be viewed online and they'll also be on display at these two Toronto malls:
March 16-19 @ Yorkdale Shopping Centre
March 23-26 @ Sherway Gardens
