Top Of The Charts: Jack Johnson's Lullabies Still Sleeping At #1

Jack Johnson

It was a slow week for major new releases, as Jack Johnson's Sing-A-Longs And Lullabies soundtrack for Curious George remains atop the Canadian sales chart for the third straight week, and there was little movement in the top 10.

James Blunt's Back To Bedlam moves up two spots to #2, as does Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor in rising to #3. Michael Buble's It's Time made an even better improvement, moving up three notches to #4.

Conversely, Warner's From The Heart Valentine's compilation slid from #2 to #5 and Andrea Bocelli's even more romantic Amore dipped down to #6 from #4.

Two albums re-entered the top 10: Eminem's Curtain Call at #7 and the Black Eyed Peas' Monkey Business at #10. The French-language Salut Joe tribute album sits at #8, while Nickelback's All The Right Reasons steps up from #10 to #9.

Two new albums entered the top 50: YTV's Big Fun Party Mix 7 at #27 and DJ Daniel Desnoyers' Power Spin Vol. 3 at #34.

South of the border, the High School Musical television show soundtrack hit the top of the chart. It was followed by Kidz Bop 9 at #2 and Johnson's album at #3.
