Taste Of Chaos Coming To Canada In April

Warped Tour mastermind Kevin Lyman has kept his promise that the Taste Of Chaos tour will be an annual event. The second-year tour, nicknamed "Winter Warped," will hit Canada again in April, bringing with it some of the top aggressive rock acts around.

Taste Of Chaos will take more than 15 bands to 46 cities, starting in San Diego on February 16. The idea is to give fans six hours of music and multimedia entertainment for under $30 a ticket.

The lineup features Thrice, Deftones Story Of The Year, As I Lay Dying, Dredg, Funeral For A Friend, Pelican, The Confession and Burlington, Ontario's Silverstein, among others. More acts will be announced as the dates get closer. Lyman has also put together a compilation of Christmas carols done by such screamo bands as The Used, Funeral For A Friend and From First To Last. The internet pre-sale for Taste Of Chaos tickets starts Friday, and the Taste Of Chaos website will have regular updates concerning the tour.
