DMX Facing Jail Time After Violating Release Conditions

One of these days, DMX is going to have realize that you really can't go around crashing cars without a license.
The rapper is facing 60 days of jail time after pleading guilty to violating the terms of his conditional release following an accident that happened at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
In that incident, DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, crashed his SUV into a gate at JFK after telling a parking lot attendant that he was actually a federal agent. He admitted in court that the June 2004 incident happened while he was taking valium. In addition to being discharged, DMX had to give up his 1998 Ford Expedition and was fined.
But that wasn't the end of the story. A week after the sentencing in December, he was stopped near his home in Westchester County doing 104 mph and this April in the Bronx, he was involved in another accident with two vehicles, one of which turned out to be — oops — an unmarked police car.
The kicker: considering the rapper/actor's license was actually suspended at the time, he shouldn't have been driving at all.
Sentencing for violating the terms of the release is scheduled for November 17.
