Two years ago, rapper DMX informed the public that he was going to retire from the rap game.

He's now decided to celebrate retirement in ironic fashion by releasing a new album.

Here We Go Again will be DMX's latest offering, and will lead off with the single "Give Em What They Want." A track listing has not been disclosed yet.

Billboard.com reports the Ruff Ryder worked with producer Scott Storch as well as Swizz Beats and P.K. on the new disc.

Lately DMX has been garnering more attention for his outlandish criminal behaviour than his musical accomplishments.

Last month, he was arrested for driving with a suspended license after causing a three-car pile-up involving an unmarked police car.

In June of 2004, DMX was collared for attempted robbery, criminal impersonation and criminal mischief in a bizarre turn of events that saw the rapper allegedly impersonate a federal agent in an attempt to coerce a man to fork over his car.

DMX also allegedly purposely smashed through a gate at JFK Airport.

Here We Go Again is set for release June 28 via Ruff Ryders/Def Jam.
