The Dears Invade The U.K... Again

The Dears

OK, so we've been bragging about The Dears for years now and finally the word is spreading.

We've already told you all about Murray Lightburn and Co's success with British record label Bella Union and the good impression they made on the pope of melodramatic pop, Morrissey. Now The Dears are on a mission to show the rest of Britain just why the Mozzer and the Bella Union folks are so darn excited.

After their opening spot for Morrissey at a recent KROQ radio show in Los Angeles, The Dears jetted straight off to the U.K. to sell their wares abroad. While the Montreal-based band are still on the road in Europe, they've already nailed down plans to return to the U.K. shortly after a brief Canadian holiday break.

So, Canada, don't expect to see your Dears for a while.

In the meantime, pick up a copy of their newly released live album Thank You Good Night Sold Out.
