Avril Lavigne Announces Toronto Mall Show

Yesterday, we told you that Avril Lavigne would be coming to Toronto later this week for a winners-only concert hosted by CHUM-FM.

Unsurprisingly, Lavigne has just revealed that she'll also be playing one of her top secret mall shows while in T.O. As we've previously reported, Avril will be testing out material from her upcoming album, Under My Skin, with a series of mall shows that will take place across North America this spring.

Each show will be announced just two days before it takes place. Get ready, Toronto — your show will take place this Thursday (March 11) at Fairview Mall. Avril and her guitarist/co-writer Evan Taubenfield will perform six songs at the lower level East end doors of Fairview Mall beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The acoustic duo will play three oldies from Avril's debut album, Let Go, as well as three new tracks from Under My Skin.

Lavigne is also expected to make mall appearances in Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Calgary. Stay tuned to your local listings for last-minute announcements for those shows.

In other Avril news, yesterday when mentioning Lavigne's CHUM-FM concert on March 11, we also erroneously reported that she'd be playing Toronto's Opera House on March 12.

Avril Lavigne will not (we repeat, not) be playing that show, which will feature Maroon 5.
