The Dears And Stars To Attack U.S. With Romanticism

Usually, we here at ChartAttack don't pay too much attention to American tour dates — after all, there's so much going on here in Canada, we don't need to focus on the States.
But, since two of our favourite Canadian pop bands are hooking up for a U.S. tour, we feel that it's our duty to alert our American readers to their tour schedule. Perennial ChartAttack faves The Dears are hooking up with their best buddies Stars for a tour that will take them down the American West Coast on their way to the ever prestigious South By Southwest festival.
Neither band have any Canadian action planned for the next while, so if you happen to be heading to Texas this spring, this may be a good time to catch them. Speaking of The Dears and Stars, both bands are nominated for awards at this year's Junos. The Dears are up for Best New Group and Stars' phenomenal Heart album is among the nominees for Alternative Album Of The Year.
