Robin Black Honoured By Guinness

Robin Black
It looks like glam princess, Robin Black, is one step closer to his goal of world domination. Last week, he was honoured with an induction into the Guinness Honour Roll. For those who don't know (i.e. Our underage readers or wimps who "don't like the taste of beer"), Guinness is a beer brewed with tender loving care in Ireland. It's like a four-course meal in a glass and yet somehow less fattening than most of its beer brothers. The Guinness Honour Roll, created by the company's Canadian distributors, aims to celebrate Canadians who demonstrate inner strength and belief in themselves during the month of March. (It is unclear if this means that nominees can be whiny, self-pitying crybabies the rest of the year.) Tim White of The Headstones nominated Black for the honour because our Robin wants to be famous and will do whatever it takes to get there. A donation will be made to the United Way of Toronto on Black's behalf, and he'll receive a bit of free Guinness for the honour. Seeing as Black is a known Corona man, he'll probably serve the Guinness to friends the next time he has a dinner party. Meanwhile, the unstoppable force is shaking his assets with his Intergalactic Rock Stars on the tail end of their current Canadian tour. Incidentally, fallen Alliance leader Stockwell Day was also inducted in the politics category for showing strength in the face of adversity. So, Black does have some competition in his mission. Maybe Day and Black could join forces. Black could give Day fashion tips. Oooh. Put the two together and you've got a Black Day folks. I think I read about this in the prophecies of Nostradamus. —April Labine
