Genn, Browne Leave MGB

The complications of Matt continue as the official Matthew Good Band fan site www.runningforhome.net revealed yesterday that for the second time, guitarist Dave Genn has left the band. And this time, drummer Ian Browne has left the group as well.
Genn previously left the band in late August only to return to the fold some four days later. Good has been operating increasingly like a solo artist in recent months.
The Loser Anthems EP released this summer was a project Good completed largely without input from the other band members. While promoting the recently released full-length album The Audio Of Being, Good was threatening to break up MGB and start the band over.
He was also very critical of Genn, comparing him to a child.
The news on the fan site says that bassist Rich Priske will continue on working with Good and that they'll look for a new keyboardist, drummer and guitar player. The new members will be in place by the time Good goes into the studio in February to start recording MGB's next album, House Of Smoke & Mirrors.
The Matthew Good Band's management were not making any comments on the line-up shuffle and MGB's label, Universal Music, were unavailable as of press time.
