Chat With Default Reveals Their Damn Dirty Nature

in
Default

Ever wonder what word makes Default's Jeremy Hora all hot and bothered (it starts with a "v")? Or why vocalist Dallas Smith is like a bad dog?

A couple of the Default lads stopped by the ChartAttack Chat Room last week to hang out and answer some of their fans' questions. You can find all sorts of strange and unusual tidbits, like how Default evolved from an enema or which band member is most anal (figuratively speaking, of course).

On top of that, Smith reveals how the song "Somewhere" was written for his Grandpa, who died a few years ago and Hora compares his bandmates to spouses.

You can get the full transcript of the chat here.

Default's major label debut, The Fallout, was released during the summer, garnering the lads a lot of attention, along with rising numbers on the Soundscan charts. They're currently sitting pretty at #51.

The Vancouver band has also just wrapped up a tour with Seven Channels and Nickelback and will be playing a few more Canadian shows before venturing into the Great Wide U.S. with Nickelback and Saliva, which will keep Default touring until mid-December.

Default's Remaining Canadian Tour Dates:
Oct. 26 Edmonton, AB @ Shaw Conference Centre (with 54-40)
Oct. 29 Abbotsford, BC @ Animal's (with Morning Maker and Sun Like Star)
