Billy Corgan Working With New Band

Former Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is continuing to stay busy. Now that his stint with New Order is complete and he's finished producing three songs for a forthcoming Marianne Faithful album, he can focus on other projects. One of these is a new band that he is presently rehearsing and recording with. Sadly, no other details have been made available.
When not pursuing those creative endeavors, Corgan, and fellow Pumpkin James Iha are compiling a Greatest Hits package. Fans can expect a plethora of Pumpkin material to begin arriving on stores shelves probably in the next couple of months. Can you say, "Just in time for Christmas?" First out will be the aforementioned Greatest Hits, but you can also expect a DVD too. The DVD will include Smashing Pumpkins videos along with a documentary outlining the making of those videos.
We've also been told to expect a limited edition double CD that not only will contain the Greatest Hits compilation, but also an album titled Judas O Riley. This album is a follow-up to 1994's Pisces Iscariot b-sides and rarities disc. Judas O Riley will contain music from recording sessions for the albums, Melon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, Adore and MACHINA/The Machines Of God.
