The Smashing Pumpkins Disarm Fans With... More Music?

Billy Corgan Bleeding His Catalog Dry?

Smashing Pumpkins fans will be all aquiver, or is that their wallets shaking?

Billy Corgan told some Chicago fans that the Smashing Pumpkins will be releasing a collection of singles later this year. The news was unleashed during a Smashing Pumpkins tribute concert, where Corgan also hinted at a limited release that would include some goodies such as B-sides and outtakes (hear Billy shouting, "No, no, no! Try it again and get it RIGHT, dammit!").

Most of the material will be coming from Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, Machina/The Machines Of God and Adore.

The ex-Pumpkins are also planning to release two DVDs that will contain footage from their final concert in December and all of the band's videos.

Gone but not forgotten. And if they're not forgotten, maybe they can make some extra dough — enough to keep Billy in cenobite garb for years to come.
