New Sloan Tour Dates

Sloan survive the assault and get on to other things.

Apparently the Sloan boys survived an attack by a drunken member of The Dears at the Air concert in Toronto, ON last night well enough to update their website sloanmusic.com today.

This means they fared better than one music editor whose arm was used as a prop in a graphic display of "how to jack off" by said member of The Dears (*cough* Murray Lightburn).

Anyway, Jay Ferguson will be on CBC Radiosonic on Saturday, June 30. There are also going to be interviews with some of our fav Can-rockers, namely Nashville Pussy's Ruyter Suys, Forgotten Rebels' Mickey De Sadist, DOA's Joe Shithead and Tricky Woo. You can check that out at radiosonic.com.

In other news, the single of new song "Pretty Together," that they've included in the British zine, Comes With A Smile is sold-out. Hello, Bearshare...

And finally, if you weren't sure of Sloan's place in the pantheon of Canadian Rock, all doubts will now be silenced seeing how they're scheduled to play July 21 at the Kee To Bala in Bala, Ontario.

The wild bar and home-away-from-home for the likes of David Wilcox and Kim Mitchell will surely be receptive to "Money City Maniacs" but we're worried about the more sensitive Jay songs.

Current Sloan tour dates:
July 1 St John's, NF @ Prince Edward Plaza
July 6 Maple, ON @ Canada's Wonderland
July 7 London, ON @ Delaware Speedway
July 21 Bala, ON @ Kee To Bala
July 28 Vancouver, BC @ Molson Snow Jam
