Yeeeow! James Brown Heads To Ottawa Bluesfest

It's time to warm up your vocal chords, blues fans. James Brown is a-comin' to town. That is, if you happen to live in the Ottawa region.

Brown will be one of the featured acts appearing at the Cisco Sytems Bluesfest, held July 13-15 as part of the Capital Music Conference.

Joining the blues brother will be George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Blues Traveler, Jonny Lang, Blue Rodeo and the Matthew Good Band.

The Bluesfest will be located at the Lebreton Flats. Weekend passes for the festival are running at $50 each (cue the James Brown scream of pain), which (if you buy the CMC/Bluesfest pass) will also get you access to concerts, activities, seminars and demonstrations.
