Coldplay Appear On Letterman

Expect Something Familiar From Them On Letterman

If you haven't already tired of their smash hit song "Yellow," the four lads from the U.K. known as Coldplay are scheduled to appear tomorrow (June 27) on Late Show With David Letterman.

No word on what song they're going to perform, but don't hold your breath hoping for a rare B-side or one of the new songs they've been debuting live.

Unfortunately, Coldplay's tour diary doesn't detail the great time they apparently had in Toronto recently (June 5). However, John Besley recounted their tale in the Detroit, MI June 7 entry that included crossing the Windsor-Detroit border to return to U.S. touring.

"We were in Canada for a bit, although three hours less than we would have been if we hadn't been stopped at customs for so long. Chris and Jon pointed out in an interview yesterday that whilst they were held and treated as criminals on the suspicion that there might be weed on their bus some middle aged guy was in and out of customs in five minutes with two rifles, but here we were, each individually searched by mean faced uniforms."

For the record, customs found the butt-end of a weed-less blunt that they believed may have contained marijuana.
