It's time to brush the mothballs off your multi-coloured bandanas and sequined trousers, Halen heads. David Lee Roth is heading on the road with his "David Lee Roth Saves The Day Tour," which will begin later this month.
So far, there are only three dates announced, although Diamond Dave's website promises more tour dates will be added in the future. None of the shows will include Bran Van 3000, despite their admission of an ardent desire to rock out with the ex-Van Halen singer.
Crowds can expect to hear some of Dave's classic anthems, including "Yankee Rose," "Just A Gigolo" and "Just Like Paradise," along with a score of Van Halen tunes. Fans might be also treated to a sample of the new material David wrote with Eddie Van Halen last summer amid rumours of Dave's return to Van Halen.
It should be noted however, Dave's site also revealed that he hasn't worked with Van Halen since last summer's session.
