Bran Van 3000 Want To Work With Diamond Dave

The new album Discosis was released just yesterday and the Bran Van 3000 clan have been getting all busy conspiring ways to make that "Astounded" song the big patio hit of the summer.

With the song currently sitting #12 on the Top 100 for Canadian radio it seems like that bandwagon is already built and starting to roll. We found Bran Van 3000's James DiSalvio sleeping under a couch at Sona so we figured, "What the heck, let's put this dude to work."

So we propped him in front of a computer, threw some Jumpin' Jack Frost in the stereo and unleashed DiSalvio on unsuspecting fans through the wonderful medium of online chat.

The next set of stars DiSalvio wants to work with are Pat Benatar, Willie Nelson and David Lee Roth.

BV3 will be trying to team up with Liquid for some live appearances.

The band is starting to rehearse and they'll be doing some free outdoor shows at jazzfests.

There will be a video for the song "The Answer." DiSalvio also considers it his first political song.
