Ah, the days when Tommy Lee spun around wailing on his drums, suspended above a live stage. Remember when Mick Mars seemed alive? Or Vince Neil was 40 pounds lighter? And how can you forget the coolness that was Nikki Sixx's outfits?

Good days to remember when the Crue reigned supreme, but you won't be seeing any of that in their new DVD, Motley Crue: Lewd Crued & Tattooed. The DVD (out June 19) includes more than 75 minutes of the present, older Crue (minus Tommy who left for the spectacle that was Methods Of Mayhem) onstage in Salt Lake City on July 5, 2000 during the Maximum Rock Tour. Filling in on drums for the missing Lee was Hole's Samantha Maloney.

Also featured in the DVD are almost 20 minutes of bonus footage that includes the making of last year's comeback album, New Tattoo, backstage moments on tour and the video of "Hell On High Heels." And for diehard Crue fans there is a never-before-heard first song ever recorded by the band entitled "Nobody Knows What It's Like To Be Lonely."

This is just part of the Motley Crue firestorm that erupted a few months ago and will continue on throughout the year. The band's backlogue of material was remastered and re-released, there's a tell-all autobiography entitled The Dirt — which just might include an incredible story about Nikki Sixx's mother freebasing cocaine with Richard Pryor — that is in stores now, and there's word of a film based on their career and exploits in the works. Who said hair metal would never come back?
