54-40 Album Soon To Be Released In U.S.

Old-school Canadian rockers 54-40 have announced that their latest album, Paloma, will be released in the U.S. before the end of the year. Until then, our neighbors to the south will have to settle with buying the CD online or picking it up during one of the band's live shows.

Beginning June 9 (at the Muskoka rock stadium known as Kee To Bala), 54-40 will be hauling themselves across central Canada, with two shows also scheduled in New York state.

But that ain't all. Bassist Brad Merritt is currently in the coffee-lovers' good books after inventing a thermal coffee pot cozy. Yesiree, 54-40 know how to please their fans.

And they say Canadian rock is domesticated.
