Sugar Ray Ashamed Of Porno Past

When it comes to rock 'n' roll escapades it seems some things are a little too sensitive for Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.

The cookies and milk rocker is scheduled to host a VH1 special The Most Shocking Moments In Rock as long as the program doesn't air anything related to McGrath's association with Matt Zane and his rock 'n' roll skin flicks Backstage Sluts.

For those not in the seedy underbelly of rock 'n' roll, Matt Zane is the frontman for Society 1. More importantly he also directs pornos, most notably the aforementioned series Backstage Sluts. The skin flicks are known for their footage of rock stars getting up to no good with groupies. Some acts that have appeared in these films include McGrath, Fred Durst, Lemmy from Motorhead, Insane Clown Posse and Nashville Pussy.

McGrath signed a release agreeing to be in Backstage Sluts 2, (sadly we haven't seen this volume), but now he doesn't want people to know he was in the film.

Zane wrote in a press release sent to ChartAttack, "It was Mark's decision to be in BS2 and he even signed a release to make it legal for me to use the footage and at no time did he contact me to be removed from the video."

The movie also stars Orgy frontman Jay Gordon, who doesn't mind that he's in it.

Zane didn't mince words over this snub and violently stated, "To have a fellow artist censor you for personal reasons is the lowest of low acts that one can commit. I can only hope that this worthless piece of talentless flesh has his dick cut off, shove deep down his throat, raped with a handgun and bleeds to death out his ass."

Bitter? Ya we think so.
