Thom Yorke's Not A Paranoid Android With MI5 Claim

Radiohead Know The Truth Is Out There

If Radiohead's Thom Yorke is looking over his shoulder and acting more like a paranoid android that's because he believes U.K. secret service MI5 might be keeping a file on him.

While plenty of people are going to dismiss his claim, ChartAttack's secret operative Maxwell Smart believes that Yorke is correct in his assumption that the unaccountable organization has the goods on him.

MI5 is responsible for counter terrorism, protecting national security, espionage and other areas it deems they should be involved in. Smart has done extensive research on the FBI and their file gathering techniques and has come across documents pertaining to John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Sinatra, Elvis and the Beach Boys.

Smart, speaking through several phone relays says, "It's very conceivable that MI5 has a file on Thom. He makes plenty of money, outspoken in his beliefs and a little different than you and I. Besides these CIA groups love to build files on people they think are subversive. It's scary when Lennon has a 100 page file generated by the FBI seeking ways to deport him. Canada has a 16 page document on Eminem that they won't release to the public, so mega stars are being watched carefully by governments."

Yorke believes the secretive government organization has started the file on him because of his involvement in the Reclaim The Streets Protest along with having links on their website to left leaning organizations that may draw the ire of a national security organization.

He told weekly U.K. music newspaper NME that, "I know some stuff about MI5 that would shit your brain. But I can't tell you, 'cos they'll do it to me, too. Seriously. And I'm not winding you up, either."
