Slipknot Pay Homage To Iowa

ChartAttack hasn't been able to confirm the rumor that Slipknot's new album is going to be named after their home state, but we will run this bit of gossip anyway. Apparently the album is titled Iowa and will be released Tuesday July 17 through RoadRunner.
M&M heard this information from a source that is generally correct nine times out of 10.
We can confirm that Slipknot has registered a new domain name, peopleequalshit.com. Much like Slipknot1.com, this website is pretty intense on the old web browser as the flash images play havoc on our computers. At the end of the cool flash flick the group issues an apology for canceling their gigs in May as they haven't completed mixing Iowa yet.
The last nugget of juicy Slipknot gossip is that a new song, "Heretic Song" has begun to circulate on a sampler disc. M&M hasn't seen or heard this, but he'll be working the phones to get his greedy hands on a copy. Chances are that it'll appear in digital format in the coming weeks anyway.
