The Stereophonics' latest offering, Just Enough Education To Perform, has debuted at number 46 in Canada — their highest chart position ever here — and rocketed to number one in their native U.K. Kelly and the boys (minus Stuart, whose wife was having a baby) dropped by Toronto last February to a sold out acoustic gig that previewed the new album.
The rest of Canada will get the chance to see Stereophonics live very shortly. The band will be crossing the U.S. and Canada during the month of May. Even if you can't catch them live this time around, they've been penciled in to perform on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn on May 15 and a spot on Letterman is on the horizon. Canadian tour dates follow, so get yourself out and see these talented Welsh boys in action.
May 17 Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom
May 18 Calgary, AB @ MacEwan Hall
May 20 Winnipeg, MB @ Le Rendez-Vous
May 23 Toronto, ON @ The Warehouse
May 24 Ottawa, ON @ Oliver's
