New Nickelback Album In October

Nickleback has racked up some serious success in the States — an appearance on Farmclub, their video for "Leader Of Men" making it on to TRL Wannabees, breaking the Billboard Top 200 along with extensive touring.
With all that promotion, they've garnered a very large U.S. fanbase, but those of us who have been listening to them since they were an indie band in the Vancouver scene have been in need of something new for a while. Even they've admitted to wanting to record some new material.
The last time M&M saw them perform in Toronto they debuted a few new songs to a very gracious audience.
Thankfully, our wait for something new on disc has finally come to an end as they're now working on the follow-up to 1999's The State. You only have to wait a few months longer — as the release month has been announced for October.
An exact date or name of the new disc hasn't been provided... yet.
