Matthew Good Band Mix New Album, Limited EP On Its Way

Even though Matthew Good Band are attempting to crack the elusive U.S. market they still haven't forgotten about their fans that made them platinum stars.
Only the truly dedicated are going to be able to get their mitts on an upcoming limited edition EP, Matt Good explained to the website, BuyThisAlbum.com.
They've created a nice collectible, numbered EP that's limited to 35,000 copies. The disc is seven songs in total, containing two outtakes from the Beautiful Midnight sessions, an acoustic tune and four "sound-tracky-type numbers."
This should tide Canuck fans over until the follow-up to Beautiful Midnight is released.
Lucky for them, MGB are heading into the studio in May to complete the mixing to the follow-up to Beautiful Midnight. Some speculate that it's going to be released in the fall, but this will depend on the level of success for the U.S. release of Beautiful Midnight. Presently their first single "Hello Time Bomb," has cracked the Billboard Top 40 modern rock tracks chart. The band plan on following it up with "Strange Days" and if that song has legs they'll continue to ride it. However, if the song doesn't crack the American market MGB will turn their focus to the new album.
When you're beginning to make a name for yourself in the U.S. you don't have the luxury to pull out all the props you usually would on stage in Canada where you're a big star. Lucky for Matt an anonymous fan dressed as a cheerleader perked MGB spirits up at a recent show. She was pulled out of the crowd at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City during the song "The Future Is X-Rated."
An email scoopster informed us, it was "devilishly spanktacular rock and roll debauchery."
