The Band Getting Full Reissue Treatment

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famers The Band are having their catalogue completely reissued in an effort to continue to build on their legacy.
Rock of Ages, Moondog Matinee, Northern Lights — Southern Cross and Islands complete the digitally mastered collection. Not only has the sound quality been improved on, but each album features unreleased material.
Rock Of Ages will be a two disc effort including tracks sung by Bob Dylan — "Down In The Flood," "When I Paint My Masterpiece," "Don't Ya Tell Henry" and "Like A Rolling Stone."
Moondog Matinee includes six outtakes and the last two albums include two alternate takes or outtakes of songs.
All four albums will be released on May 8. The production of the re-release was supervised by the surviving Band members, Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm and Garth Hudson.
