Travis have emerged from a Los Angeles recording studio with an album in hand and a North American tour just announced.
The band's Canadian appearances will be limited to Vancouver and Toronto this summer, where they'll be opening for none other than the sultry and hugely successful, Dido. (Come on, admit it, when you flick channels and get Roswell's opening credits, you sing along!)
Travis were last seen in Canada touting their multi-platinum sophomore album, The Man Who, last fall. To follow-up their immense critical and commercial success, they've stuck to the formula of recording with producer Nigel Godrich of Radiohead fame.
The new album, entitled The Invisible Band, will be out on June 12. If a certain tragically romantic Scottish crooner named Fran Healy is high on your must-see list, you must get to either one of these Canadian dates:
June 10 Vancouver, BC @ GM Place
July 4 Toronto, ON @ Molson Amphitheatre
