DMX Expands Repertoire

Following in the marketing footsteps of Wu-wear, rapper DMX a.k.a. Earl Simmons, has decided to start his own line of clothing too.

Expect to see the brand DW on all the cool people in 2001. Just to ensure that he can stay busy, DMX is also launching his own Bloodline record label.

The label won't feature strictly hip-hop and R&B acts, as DMX would like to sign some rock bands. Puff Daddy attempted the same thing, but failed to get their first rock act over with the non-urban fans.

Assuming these two projects are as successful as his three albums, all of which went to number one on Billboard charts — and he can stay out of prison these two projects could be "gold" for him.

Not only is DMX a successful rapper, potential entrepreneur, but he's also an actor. The rapper spent sometime in Toronto recently filming the movie, Exit Wounds with Steven Segal.

Sum 41 fans can also spot him their video for "Makes No Difference," too. In between all this work he's found time to write an autobiography with hip-hop writer, Smokey D Fontaine.
