Billy Corgan To Become Pro Wrestler?

Is Billy Corgan considering a new career in wrestling?
Wrestling website The Law reported on Sunday that the Smashing Pumpkins' lead singer made an appearance at the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) show in Peoria, IL.
He was supposed to sing the national anthem to kick off the event, but was interrupted by a collection of bad guys, which included Steve Corino, Jack Victory, Scotty Anton and Lou E. Dangerously.
Corgan stood his ground, hitting Dangerously with a guitar.
Despite all his gothic bluster, we suspect Corgan is more of an everyman than we're led to believe. This isn't the first time Corgan's shown an appreciation for the fine art of "sports entertainment." He was in the audience for an ECW pay-per-view held in Chicago last year and seemed to be enjoying the spectacle when the camera would pan on him.
Corgan, who's a pretty tall guy, would probably be able to carry off an old school character like Baron Von Rashke quite well. Those of you who remember the Baron can no doubt visualize Corgan doing the boot-step in the ring before administering the "Iron Claw."
Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst also had a short "feud" with ECW star Steve Corino some months back. What this could all amount to is a reunited Rock And Roll Express that would feature Corgan and Durst. Regardless, this all just further exemplifies the current rock 'n' wrestling synergy going on where wrestlers like The Rock are teaming up with Wyclef Jean and Chris Jericho with Stuck Mojo.
Bands like Insane Clown Posse and The Misfits have gone in the other direction and actually become pro wrestlers.
