54-40 Video Shoot Update

54-40 are alive and well... in Kenya.
The band, who have been keeping fans updated via their website, recently checked in from Mombassa, a sun-soaked port city on the Indian Ocean.
"We woke up this morning at 5:30 a.m., so we could take advantage of the sunrise and early morning light," posted bassist Brad Merritt, while the rest of the band looked on in a steamy, cyber cafe.
"The sunrise, just to the north of us, over the Indian Ocean looked amazing!"
The band have recently been basking in the local culture by encountering giraffes, ostriches, baboons and zebras on safari at Nairobi National Park. They've also been gnoshing on crocodile and hanging out with the locals against the advice of their hotel staff.
Fans can also view daily photos of their journey posted on the web. The band will be finishing their trek in Morocco during the next couple of days.
