DMX Spends 15 Days In Jail

DMX was jailed recently in New York for missing a court date back in March.

DMX will spend 15 days in a New York jail. The rapper turned himself into New York police after a warrant was issued for his arrest for missing a scheduled court date in March.

According to a spokesperson for the Cheektowaga Justice Court, DMX pled guilty to driving with a suspended license and was sentenced to 15 days in jail with no bail. The rapper also received a total of $380 in U.S fines.

Thy are as follows: $100 for possession of marijuana, $200 for not having a driver's license, $50 for two parking tag violations and a $30 surcharge to boot.

On May 3, the rapper was put into a holding cell awaiting transportation to the Erie County Correctional Facility in Alden, N.Y. This is where he will serve the remainder of his sentence.

While in jail, it was reported that more marijuana was found on DMX, hidden inside a cigarette pack. [Editor's Note: Those cigarette packages are the best method of hiding your pot.]

Subsequently, DMX was rearrested on an additional marijuana possession charge and was fined an additional $250. The rapper was originally arrested on March 3 following the Cash Money/Ruff Ryders' concert near Buffalo, N.Y.
