Today's Tidbits: Warrant Out For DMX And Much More...

Rapper DMX has a warrant out for his arrest

DMX SKIPS COURT APPEARANCE
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of rapper DMX, (a.k.a. Earl Simmons) after he skipped out on his court appearance, scheduled for Wednesday, March 22. The possible excuse for missing the trial is that the rapper was performing a show at the Compaq Center in Houston that night.

He has been accused of speeding, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and failing to signal a lane change. DMX has previously been charged after his Teaneck, New Jersey home was searched last year. Police found a variety of illegal items including 14 caged pit bulls kept in violation of municipal ordinance.—Krystine Buzny

SLIPKNOT DJ TURNS ON THE TEARS
Obviously, DJ Sid Wilson (number 0) of psycho-nu metal band Slipknot has never had any 'Halloween Mask Rules' instilled in him. Being unaware that the mask's eye slits should be large enough to see all around him, has caused Wilson to be a poor judge of heights, which has caused him to injure a fan. At a recent gig held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in the U.K., Wilson attempted to dive into the crowd off a 30-foot balcony during the band's set. Missing his target by a mile, he crashed into 19 year old Lyndsey Pearce, knocking her unconscious and *tsk, tsk* breaking her spectacles. The dazed fan just "melted" when Wilson appeared at her hospital bedside crying like a baby and expressing genuine concern for her.

Primal Scream Take Harsh Critic Out for a Drink
Primal Scream
made an unusual stop during their tour of England, at a record store in Diss, East Anglia. The band stopped off to talk to Wes Kent of Revolution Records who had given them a 0 out of ten on an industry questionnaire. He said that even after hanging out with the band and having a few beers he would still not change his opinion. The Eastern Daily press, one of the area's local newspapers, reported that the band was taking everything in good humour and they were pleased that Kent could freely express his opinions.
