UPDATE: TMZ is still really trying to make the Ghostface/Shkreli beef happen, and Ghost is happy to play along in this new video:
Members of Wu-Tang Clan are beginning to speak up about Martin Shkreli, the now infamous pharmaceutical executive who recently purchased their one-of-a-kind album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin for a cool $2 million with no plan to release it.
In a street interview with TMZ, Ghostface Killah called Shkreli a "shit head" for his decision to raise the price of an HIV medication by nearly $750 overnight. When asked about who should own the album, Ghostface stated that it should belong to the public. "What are you going to hold it for 88 years for?" he asked. It's his greatest teardown since Action Bronson.
Tony Starks isn't the only one who wants it out in the world. About a month ago the internet was buzzing with rumours of the "liberation" of Once Upon A Time In Shaolin after a user posted on reddit claiming to possess a copy. Well, it turned out that whole thing was a hoax, and the album never found it's way online. What a surprise.
After the TMZ footage surfaced online, it didn't take long for Mr. Pharma Bro to jump on Twitter and address the name calling.
Ghost mad that Shaolin outsold his last 5 albums… dude’s a non-profit rapper. Calls himself ironman, but sounds rusty AF @GhostfaceKillah

Shkreli is currently facing several charges of fraud and is set for a February 3 court date, so it's unlikely Ghostface's wish will be granted any time soon. Half of me thinks the album was bought purely for publicity and Shkreli hasn't even heard it. Still, how great would it be to hear the secretly recorded 31-track album? Maybe he'll come around... if he doesn't go to prison first.
