Canada loves the new, experimental Taylor Swift. We should love these songs just as much.

Yesterday, a new Taylor Swift song called "Track 3" hit the Canadian version of iTunes. Canadians, the hardcore Swifties that we are, immediately shot it to #1, just ahead of two more 1989 singles, "Welcome To New York" and "Shake It Off." The National Post was quick to write off the song, which consists of 8 seconds of static, as "a glitch." But north of the border we obviously prefer the new, avant-garde Taylor Swift.

So in honour of Taylor Swift's daring new single, here are the next 8 songs Canada should send to the top of the charts:
