Michael Cera put out an indie folk album called True That

I already like it more than the new season of Arrested Development.

The very funny Michael Cera (go watch Crystal Fairy & The Magical Cactus right now) also does music stuff. He's played bass on tour with Nick Thorburn in Mister Heavenly, writes soundtracks for his Jash shorts, and now put an album of Daniel Johnston-styled bedroom nuggets called True That on Bandcamp. He doesn't sing too much, and lets his off-mic guitars and pianos communicate the bulk of the album's endearingly scattered and unprecious vibe. Check it out the almost certainly real album of Cera Songs (Jonah Hill tweeted it!) below.

Download Michael Cera's True That at Bandcamp for $7.
