Ice Cream Plastic

Ice Cream are dolls in the dullhouse on “Plastic”

And remember: "plastic never dies."

So this is what downtime at the dollhouse really looks like, eh? Toy Story was a candy-coloured daydream, you say? All those thrilling adventures just kids' stuff? It's certainly way more sitting around, staring at your nails, waiting for little Jenny or Scotty to come play — but so is life, I guess. At least Toronto post punk duo Ice Cream left this tuneful little reminder that even your Barbies will outlive you.

With a chunky pearl of Rum Raisin gluing down their caps lock, the band (again) managed to deliver their periodic Message From Ice Cream:

HI CHART ATTACK

DANIELLE "APHRODITE" NEMET MADE THIS VIDEO FOR OUR SONG "PLASTIC." SHE HAS THE INTELLECT AND TEMPERAMENT OF THE GREAT GREEK PHILOSOPHERS, WHICH IS WHY SHE SAYS THIS VIDEO IS "A CONTEMPLATION OF DETERMINISM AND CHAOS, A MEDITATION ON THE REALMS AND PLANES OF EXISTENCE..."

BUT ITS ALSO KIND OF LIKE ICE CREAM ARE DOLLS IN A DOLL HOUSE. STATIC, TRAPPED FOREVER, PLASTIC NEVER DIES!

DON'T CRY. STAY COOL.

ICE CREAM XOXO
