Kindness's Adam Bainbridge directed kindred glamour pop artist Blood Orange's video for "Chamakay," and once again he's taking Dev Hynes back home in "Uncle ACE," the Cupid Deluxe track he's remixed with Chicago house icon Robert Owens. Between this glitzy, euphoric new track and Trouble Funk's joyous appearance in "That's Alright," Bainbridge knows how to make a revival that grows outwards from the roots. And the video's interview format of Hynes and Owens is similarly adventurous: questions appear as title cards, and are answered with images of various places and people in Hynes's childhood town (for their actual answers, check the video's YouTube description).

Blood Orange's new album Cupid Deluxe is out now via Domino. "Uncle ACE: The Remixes" is out today.
