Video: Disclosure enlist Mary J. Blige for Grammy-baiting new version of “F For You”

Can they beat Daft Punk? Probably not. But thanks for trying, lads.

I haven't been keeping up with Mary J. Blige since she guested on good kid, m.A.A.d city, but the R&B legend's got another upstart begging for a feature: Disclosure. There's no question that her vocals lend the formerly Blige-less album cut “F For You” a classic vibe, and that's the point: Disclosure's Settle is nominated for a Grammy, and the Lawrence brothers are wise to show that their scope of navigating retro sounds is at least as broad as front-runners Daft Punk. Grammy voters, you paying attention?

Disclosure's Settle is out now via Universal/Island. See what the group picked for their edition of Essential Albums here.
